In the midst of my sadness to hear that Boots has passed, I also want to celebrate the amazing woman I knew Boots to be - so full of life and spunk, yet so deeply caring and insightful. She will be missed by her family of docents at the Kimbell Art Museum and the greater art community of Fort Worth. What a treasure she was to us all!

Hi, Mike, Steve and Lisa:
So sad to hear of your mother's passing.
I loved Boots, long-time friend from 1961 or so.
She was an extraordinary artist, mother and business woman.
I admired her greatly.
I was fortunate to have lunch with Boots at her home about 2 years ago.
She showed me her workroom and some of her products. What a fine
artist she was. Loved the house she and Spud designed. I know you've
had many wonderful times there.
Hope to see you Feb 19. What an appropriate place (The Modern)
to celebrate your mom's life,. Only wish she could be there to visit
with us all.
Love to you all,
Velma and Sam Bogart
