Donna Howard Obituary
Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday in Winscott Road Memorial Chapel, 1001 Winscott Road. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Winscott Road Funeral Home.
Donna was born Feb. 19, 1962, in Taiwan. She attended Western Hills High School and UT-Arlington. Donna enjoyed numerous activities and interests, including gardening, fishing, golfing and cooking. She enjoyed spending time with family and her beloved pets. Donna will be remembered for her humor, sense of style, love of life and courage in the face of adversity.
She was predeceased by her parents, David E. Mays Sr. and Pei Chen Mays.
Survivors: Loving husband, Michael Howard; siblings, Lily Shaw and husband, John, David E. Mays Jr. and wife, Carol; grandmother, Wu Yen Chen; stepsons, Benjamin Howard and Jonathan Howard and wife, Sharai; many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

David and families:
I'm so sorry for your loss. I know it's difficult for you right now. Just know that she's in God's arms now, and pain free.
I will never forget Donna. She was beautiful. I had the utmost respect for her, and she was ALWAYS kind and sweet to me in high school.
She will always be in my heart, and I will think of her every time I listen to our old band albums. She was a great musician, and worked extremely hard to help make our band family #1.
God bless you all, and may you have strength and comfort during this difficult time.

My thoughts and prayers go out to our fellow WHHS band buddy, Donna Mays Howard. Donna will always be remembered for her lithe beauty and her lovely long hair. She was a goddess in our geeky world. We triple dated with Jim, Todd, Eric and the gang! It is such a tragedy to lose her so young. I was glad that she was able to see some old friends during the recent band reunion activities. Donna you will be missed. Rest in peace.

I wish to express my deepest condolences and send my most fervent prayers to the family. I am greatly saddened now that one of the guiding stars from the constellation of my youth has been lost. Though the bright shining light that was Donna has gone, the cast of her radiance has forever left a wonderful image on the retina of my mind. To me, and I'm sure all that knew her, she was a wonderful inspiration and a loyal friend. I will miss her.

It was sad to read this news about Donna's passing. She and I were best friends in fifth grade. It has been several years since I've seen her but I'll never forget what a wonderful person and friend she was growing up. I'm sorry for your loss.
