Emma Jean Combs Savage, 81, passed away Monday, Oct. 8, 2012. Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Thursday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Jean was born Aug. 13, 1931, in Powderly to Hari and Harry Morton. She grew up at the Lena Pope Home. Her interests included dolls and tigers, and she enjoyed visiting the Fort Worth Zoo. Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Bud Savage; her parents; and a brother, Pat Morton. Survivors: Children, Tim Combs, Debra Davenport and Derek Combs and wife, DeLynn; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchild, Athena; stepdaughter, Sharon Kay Bean; and her special pet, Precious.
