James and Louise Hudson

James "Jim" Richard Hudson, 79, and Louise Claire Hudson, 80, of Euless, Texas, died in a car accident on Tuesday, June 6, 2017. They were married for 57 years and lived in Indiana, Rhode Island, and Connecticut before making Texas their home. Service: for Jim and Louise will take place at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Bedford, Texas, followed by burial services at 1:30 p.m. in the DFW National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas. Another memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 17, 2017, at St. Mary's Church, Willimantic, Conn. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Michael's Catholic Church, 3713 E Harwood Road, Bedford, TX 76021 or St. Mary's Catholic Church, 80 Maple Ave., Willimantic, CT 06226. Jim was in the Navy and retired from Pratt & Whitney. Louise was a homemaker and worked at J.C. Penney. When they moved to Texas, Jim continued working part time as he loved meeting new people. Jim and Louise were loving and nurturing parents, grandparents, and siblings. Survivors: Jim and Louise are survived by their five children, Norma Hudson, Patricia Doubleday, Stephen Hudson, Joanne Saska, and William Hudson. They have nine grandchildren, Kevin delRosario, Keith delRosario, Amanda Gottlieb, Chelsea White, Kirsti Doubleday, Corey Salvatore, Emily Hudson, Kyle Hudson, and Amber Hudson; six great-grandchildren, Kaysha delRosario, Gabriel Diaz, Gavin delRosario, Aliyah Roman, Alise delRosario, and Skyler Salvatore; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Jim is survived by his sister, RuthAnne Upchurch. Louise is survived by her three brothers, Paul, Richard, and Michael Bettencourt. Jim and Louise, God has you in his keeping, but we all have you in our hearts.
