James Smith Obituary

James Bryan Smith, 62, passed away Sunday, Sept. 20, 2009.
Funeral: 3 p.m. Friday at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 4513 Williams Road, Benbrook. Private interment: Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road.
Memorials: The family suggests memorial contributions to Redeemer Lutheran Church Building Fund or the Alzheimer's Association.
James was born April 2, 1947, in Hobbs, N.M., to Bennie Creel and Ottis Faye Smith.
Jim was a loving husband, father and grandfather, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Survivors: Wife, Melody Smith; children, Bryan Smith and wife, Jennifer, and their daughter, Megan Olivia Smith, Leslie Wells and husband, Christopher, and their children, Michael, Matthew and Mark, Carole Rannefeld and husband, Blue, and their daughter, Suzanna Blue Rannefeld, Clinton Eastepp and wife, Kim, and their daughter, Natalie Loree Eastepp, and Craig Eastepp and wife, Kaylan; brother, Bennie Smith and wife, Mary; and many other loving relatives and friends.
