Tropper Mr JB Stokes....I often just quietly give thanks to common men, who do very uncommon actions such as yourself, to secure this country for us! Please give our thanks to the rest of "The Band of Brothers" awaiting your arrival to be with them again!! Brave, real heroes, our country hurts to see you temporarly leave us!!! Thank you for your saving of our country!!

I met Mr Stokes several times and had the pleasure of introducing my two young sons to this hero. He was so open and gave his time and energy to my kids as they met and talked to the best of the greatest generation.
Thank you Mr Stokes for your service to your country and community!!! Rest in peace!!!

My deepest sympathy to the Stokes family. I never met Mr. Stokes, but did see him during his interview in the movie, BAND OF BROHTERS. I often remember him saying how cold it was during the "Battle of the Bulge" and him telling his wife on present cold winter nights, "How glad he was not to be there in Bastogne".
GOD bless J.B. Stokes, a true American Hero. "We few, we happy few, we band of brothers. For he today that sheds his blood with me shall be my brother; be never so vile. This day shall gentle his condition..

This is the J.B. Stokes. I saw this man on the list of Easy Company. So sorry for you loss. I guess that couldn't be in the paper or you would have to big a crowd. I have the movie and I saw that emblem on his hat I knew!!I am very sorry for your loss.
