Bellcord had a wit and wisdon that showed his lust for life and his appreciation for cars combined with a love for the important things that are being strangled here in America. God bless you and your family. Happy Trails Mr. P.

Another Bring a Trailer reader here. Best wishes to his family. He will be missed all over the US and foreign climes thanks to his wit and wisdom. Happy trails Bellcord.

We so enjoyed his rare wit and dry humor on "Bring a Trailer" dot com. There will be less reason to follow the site each day with the realization that special wisdom and satirical observation will be absent. Fair Wind, Clear Skies and a Challenging Road to drive Bellcord!

Loved Bellcord and his comments on Bring a Trailer - He always brought a smile to my face and a bit of laughter to my soul. He will be sorely missed on this earth, but assuredly Heaven just got to be a more interesting place. Godspeed to my fellow West Tulsan...

There are a lot of BaT members who write about cars, and many do it quite well. Bellcord/Mr. Phoenix was different. What he really wrote about was people- all of us- in the guise of writing about cars. We were all the richer (a great deal richer) for his wit and experience, and we are all the poorer as he departs us. In addition to family, country and God, he loved life and language, and it clearly showed.

I lost my dad at 65 to lung cancer too, every time I need help or to share an idea or a wrench, I miss him. I'm sorry for your loss.

A true wit - even with a tear on my cheek, his writings made me laugh out loud.
