Leo D. McDonald Obituary
Leo D. McDonald 84, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed from this life Saturday July 20, 2013. Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Legacy Church of Christ. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Leo was born in Childress County Oct. 6, 1928, and was a lifelong resident of the Fort Worth area. He served in the U.S. Army from 1950 to 1952. He graduated from TCU in 1956 and started his career with Texas Electric. Leo retired after 35 years of loyal service with TXU in 1991. He was a member of Legacy Church of Christ for over 50 years. Survivors: Wife of 63 years, LaJune McDonald; son, Randy McDonald and wife, Helen; daughter, Sandy Hamilton and husband, Steve; four grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters.
