Margaret Moroney Darrow, beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt and grandmother, died Saturday, April 26, 2014. She was born in Okmulgee, Okla., on Sept. 26, 1926, to Francis and Margaret Moroney. She graduated from Oklahoma City University and married Donald Charles Darrow in 1948. They moved to Odessa where he worked as an architect. Don and Margie later moved to Euless. Margie worked at Pollock Paper, later St. Regis, as an analytical chemist for 22 years. Margie loved good books, the visitors to her birdfeeders, the tomatoes Don grew, and adored her grandchildren who loved her right back. The NYT crossword was her favorite start to the day and she appreciated good company along with a wee dram of Irish in the evening. She is survived by brother James Moroney and his wife Mary Moroney, sister-in-law Mary Darrow, sister-in-law Sally Costa, daughters Dee Kelleher (Gary), Donna Juren (Gary), Debby Steffens (Ed), Diane Dean (Kevin), son-in-law Greg Englehart, grandchildren Patrick and Carolyn Kelleher, Katie Englehart, Maddie Englehart Qualls, Dylan and Margaret Dean as well as cousins, nieces, and nephews.
