My heartfelt sympathy to all of you. I met Sammie at the Sister's guest house in Assisi some years ago and on a few occasions we would by chance be there at the same time, the last being two years ago. May the warm embrace of the Lord blanket you with his comfort.

Sammie was a treasured friend, and an wonderful inspiration to our lives. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. However, we know the angels in Heaven are rejoicing to have her home!
