I had just decided to write her a letter -- we hadn't been in touch for some time -- so I looked her up on the internet and found myself reading her obituary. We met at TCU. Both of us returned to Ft. Worth after graduating and continued our friendship for several more years.
I am brokenhearted -- for Pam who left us so early -- and for all of us who love her.
I love you, Pam. The world isn't what it once was.

I only met Pam a handful of times. I just heard of her passing today. I remember her being full of laughter and friendly comments. She was wonderful to be around. I'm deeply sorry to her family and everyone who knew her. This made me pretty sad. It's a little late, but I wish you guys all the best.

I want to thank you all for your fond memories and warm thoughts. My mother was a great woman that I will always be proud of. She was so rare and always on my side. I have so many of my own memories that keep me company while she is not around. I know this is only a physical seperation, however, I miss my best friend, my shopping partner, my advice-giver, my 24/7 go-to, my life coach, my supporter, my mom.

College wouldn't have been half the fun it was without Pam. She had a pure spirit and a kind soul. I feel badly that I lost touch but once you knew Pam, well she was one of a kind. Her tiny size couldn't disguise her huge heart.

Our family was shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Pam's passing. I regret that I didn't read the paper sooner so that Sallie and I could have attended the celebration and shown our support. Please know that you are in our hearts and prayers at this time and please let us know if we can help in any way. Pam touched many hearts with her kindness and she will be missed by all that were blessed with her love.

I first met Pam when she subbed for me during my daughter's illness and subsequent death in 2004. She always had a smile on her face, and the children loved her. They were always excited to hear that "Mrs. S" would be their substitute. Her smile and sweet nature will be long remembered and sorely missed by many teachers and students in the AISD. My prayers are with her family at this devastating time in their lives.

I am thinking how much Pam loved to scuba dive and how she loved to go to Grand Cayman and Greece. I am so sorry we can't be there with you. Our thoughts are with you as are our prayers for peace and healing.
We love you and miss you,
