My heart just broke when I found that that we had lost Robert. We were good friends in college, and had just reconnected last year after having lost touch with each other for a while, and I was so looking forward to continued visits and getting to see you again, Becky. Robert shared the photos of his donkeys, and caught us up on your lives. I found out about his courageous battle with pancreatic cancer just days after I lost my dad to the same disease. My heart goes out to you and your family. Becky, please let me know if there's anything you need. Robert, you were one-of-a-kind, and you are missed more than you know. Rest in peace, my dear friend!

Becky, I am so sorry for the loss of Robert and will miss him. He was always good for a joke and brought many smiles and laughter to the lab. He did not ever seem to complain and always had a happy demeanor about him. My prayers are that you and your family will once again find peace and joy in life, but not forget what you had with Robert.

I had the pleasure of working with Robert more than a few years ago. I remember many long conversations about many different subjects. Robert's many interests always made for good talks. I know he will be missed greatly by those who knew and loved him. Our prayers are with his family.
