Burial: Sue will be laid to rest in Olive Branch Cemetery in Como, Tenn. Visitation: 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday at Brown, Owens & Brumley Funeral Directors in Fort Worth. Sue was born in Camp Bennett, Ohio, on June 10, 1931. She married Robert Burns Myers on Oct. 18, 1949, and they eventually settled in Tennessee where they raised their three children. Mr. Myers passed away in 1980 and Sue eventually moved to Fort Worth to be closer to her children. Sue was a kind and gentle soul who never met a stranger. She loved her family more than life itself and always put their needs and wishes above her own. She made it a goal in life to never forget a birthday. Even in her final days she never lost her smile or her sense of humor and will always be remembered for the way she loved. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Burns Myers; sister, Lillian McGeath; and Ottis Lester, companion of 23 years. Survivors: Son, Robert Burns Myers II and his partner, Kevin Harkins, of Fort Worth; son, Jim Myers and his wife, Paula, of Troy, Mich.; daughter, Linda Williams and her husband, David, of Burleson; sister, Norma Jean Stone of Lucasville, Ohio; grandchildren, Robert Burns Myers III, Olivia Myers, and Stephen Myers; and two great-grandchildren.
