Latrelle Berry Obituary
Latrelle Berry, 81, passed away Friday, Feb. 14, 2014, in Bedford. Service: 12:30 p.m. Wednesday in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. Latrelle was a vibrant and joyful woman who spread cheer to all. Her life's work was service to others, her beloved family, countless friends and, most importantly, the Lord. Latrelle was spirit-filled, always looking to the light, and made it her mission to share her deeply-rooted faith with everyone who crossed her path. She was a perpetual tower of strength and taught so many the power of thriving during times of adversity. While her 81 years on this earth were rich and full, we were not ready to let her go nor was she with the last words "I still have work here to do." Our only comfort in her passing is the knowledge that she is resting peacefully with her one true love and dancing in heaven. Latrelle was preceded in death by her husband, C.A. "Buddy" Berry; and parents, R.F. "Dick" Lewis and Mattie Belle Lewis. Survivors: Daughters, Sherry Belew and husband, Rola', Rebecca Lombardi and husband, Rich, and Leann Berry; grandchildren, Glenn Doherty, Michelle Brown and husband, Sonny, Melissa Justice and husband, Eric, and Jaret Cline; great-grandchildren, Brayden Brown, Christian Brown, Grace Justice and Isabella Justice; siblings, Laverne Williams, Janice Edwards and husband, Don, and Richard Lewis and wife, Janell; sister-in-law, Frankie Berry; brother-in-law, Robert M. Berry; many special nieces, nephews and cousins; and a multitude of friends.
