John Joseph "Johnny" Coyle Obituary
John Joseph "Johnny" Coyle went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 16, 2014. Funeral: 11 a.m. Thursday at Aria Cremation Service & Funeral Home, 1820 N. Beltline Road. Interment: 12:30 p.m. Thursday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Viewing: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Aria. Johnny was the fifth of seven children born to Elizabeth Casey and Joseph Coyle on Jan. 14, 1925, in Philadelphia, Pa. He married Jean Marjorie Luse on Dec. 29, 1946, and they had two daughters, Andrea and Molly. After receiving his degree as a journeyman printer, they settled in Bellwood, Pa. The Army recalled him for the Korean War and he retired after his tour of duty in Vietnam, serving for 25 years. He was a West Philadelphia High graduate, attended the University of Texas at El Paso and the University of Maryland. He was a licensed ham radio operator, an artist and an amateur silversmith, and enjoyed music and dancing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Deloris Hulbert and Mary Elliot; brother, Joseph Coyle; and one daughter, Andrea Coyle. Survivors: His wife of 67 years, Jean Marjorie; daughter, Molly Coyle of Euless; and granddaughter, Danielle Jurinsky of Aurora, Colo.
