1951 - 2014 Obituary Condolences
Joe McKinney Obituary
Our beloved Joe McKinney, 62, departed his earthly home on Thursday, March 27, 2014, to move on to his heavenly home, where he will join family and friends who have passed before him. Service: 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 4, at Biggers Funeral Chapel. Interment: Dido Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 3, at the funeral home. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, please make donations to pancan.org, towards research for the cure of pancreatic cancer so that one day others will not have to go through what Joe did. Joe was born June 12, 1951, in Fort Worth and graduated from Haltom High School. Although he will be missed by so many here, we are comforted by knowing that he is now in a place where there is no pain and suffering, and those who love him will join him at a later date. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert L McKinney. Survivors: His mother, Maxine McKinney; his brother, Brad McKinney and sister-in-law, Floy; his loving wife, Laura McKinney; his children, Zach McKinney and wife, Kayre, Mica McKinney and husband, Tom Hollenbach, Toby Fournet and wife, Joann, Sarah Jayne Cosgrove and husband, Tommy Ray, LaRae Cannon and husband, Cody. He was privileged to be "Pappa Joe" to 13 wonderful grandchildren. He also leaves behind a multitude of family members and great friends who will miss him, but have cherished memories of great times together.
