Donald Ray Beason Obituary
Donald Ray Beason, 67, a native of Knox City, passed away Friday, March 28, 2014, in Burleson. Funeral: 12:30 p.m. Thursday at Laurel Land Chapel of Chimes. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park of Fort Worth. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Laurel Land Funeral Home. Ray was born in Knox City on Aug. 15, 1946. He grew up in Knox City where he graduated in 1964. He graduated from Northwood University with a B.A. in business in 1993. He lived in Burleson with his wife of 33 years, Sandra Parker Beason. Ray was a very generous and loving husband and father. He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids, traveling, volunteering and trading at flea markets. He was a member of the Southside Masonic Lodge and a Moslah Shriner. He was a longtime volunteer with the Flying Fez. Survivors: Ray is survived by his wife, Sandra Beason; his parents, Leo and Ervalene Beason; and his brother and sister-in-law, Lynn and Lynn Beason. He leaves loving memories to be cherished by his children, Karae Wright, Kimberly Gross, Kellie Teal-Guess, Randy Teal and their spouses. Ray adored his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Justin and Ashley Wright, Casey and Sarah Gross, Jamie and Maddie Guess and Jaden, Brandon and Connor Teal; and his nephew, Bill Beason, and niece, Lauren Kubes, and their families.
