Pat Hahn Obituary
Pat Hahn, 81, went home to be with our Lord on Saturday, April 5, 2014, suddenly and peacefully at home. Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in Greenwood Chapel. Entombment: Greenwood Mausoleum. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Greenwood. Memorials: Donations may be made to the , or a . Pat Hahn was born May 25, 1932, in Tulsa, Okla., to Clarine and Charles Richard Pritchard. Pat married her husband, Jerry, in 1952. Pat was a very talented woman in many areas. She was an award-winning florist, having studied the art of flower arranging in London and at other schools and classes throughout her career. Pat was an avid reader and crossword enthusiast. If you played a board game with Pat, plan on losing, she always won. Pat and her husband, Jerry, loved to travel anywhere and everywhere at the drop of a hat. For years you could mostly find Pat on the golf course at Colonial Country Club with all of her "Birthday Club buddies" or various other members of her family. Pat had her own successful floral business; her talents included decorating homes, banks and Colonial Country Club. For the past 10 years, Pat had been show director for the Tarrant County RV Show. She jumped into that project feet first after the death of her husband, who had that position for many years. Throughout Pat's life, she was a member of the Garden Club, Woman's Club, Bridge Club, Colonial Country Club and the Birthday Club. She was past president of several PTAs and golf associations and was active in other associations around Fort Worth. Pat and her husband were married for over 50 years and had two daughters, Diana and Melinda. She was known as "Meemaw" to her four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Pat was a smart, fair, strong-willed, self-sufficient woman who tackled problems head-on. She had wonderful friends and family whom she loved dearly. We will all miss her. Survivors: Daughters, Diana Hahn and Melinda Hahn Bronstad and husband, Kenny; grandchildren, Erin Aldrich and husband, Robert, Matthew Milling and wife, Lauren, Charlie Milling and wife, Joyce, and Erika Bronstad; great-grandchildren, Margaret, Kane, Adelaide, Henrietta, Annabelle, Amelie and Bryan; and her dog, Bubbles.
