He was kind and helpful to everyone he met, a true gentleman. The family would like to extend its sincere gratitude to all of the friends, neighbors, coworkers, and healthcare providers who supported them during this very difficult time. Survivors: Wife of 34 years, Emily Gail; son, Shawn Scoggins and Heather; daughters, Chandra Scoggins, Patricia Bendurski and husband, Ivo; grandchildren, Chazlyn, Cole, Payton, Payge, Zack; dearest friends who are also family, Sid and Paula Christopher; in-laws, Kathy and David Todd, Sherry and Marc Jones; and many nieces and nephews.
