Eloise Torres Obituary
Eloise Torres passed away at her home on Friday, July 11, 2014. Funeral: Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park. Rosary: 7 p.m. Sunday at Thompson's Harveson & Cole Funeral Home. Eloise was born in Fort Worth, attended Trimble Tech High School and graduated with a degree in traffic management from Tarrant County College. She was employed at Stripling and Cox for over 30 years. Eloise was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church where she served as a eucharistic minister, was a lector, sang in the choir and assisted with hospital ministry. She was also a Guadalupana and Marianist. Eloise also helped raise Jesse's three children after the death of their mother. Eloise was preceded in death by her parents, Casimiro and Dolores Castillo Torres, and her siblings, Jesse, Nicolas, Nathan and Ramona Torres and Belen Valle. Survivors: Sisters, Rose Torres, Angelina Torres; and many, nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces.
