Barbara Kay Foster went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Aug. 16, 2014. She will be missed dearly not only by her family, but by others with whom she shared her love, faith and trust in God. Celebration of life: 1 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church, Euless. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary Women's Ministry. She was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ and longtime member of First Baptist Church, Euless. She participated in many mission trips, taught many children about God's love and mentored many believers. She enjoyed Precept Bible Studies and was a faithful witness to Christ. Barbara was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was happiest when surrounded by her family. She loved to cook for her family and friends and spend hours sharing their company. The final night of her life in this age was spent surrounded by the sounds of her beloved family. Her final morning included Bible reading and prayer. By her own testimony, she was ready to see Jesus. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Dolph and Betty Gornowicz.
