James E. Marshall Obituary
James Eugene Marshall, 89, of North Richland Hills passed away Friday, Aug. 15, 2014. Funeral: 10 a.m. Tuesday at North Park Baptist Church in North Richland Hills with interment following in Moore Memorial Gardens. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Moore Funeral Home in Arlington. James was born in Staples, Minn., on April 5, 1925. He was married to Billie Marshall on Jan. 14, 1950. James, a veteran of World War II, served in the Army Air Corps, which later became the U.S. Air Force. He retired after 20 years of service at the rank of chief master sergeant. He had a second career as an electrician at Texas Color Printers in Dallas. James was a member of North Park Baptist Church and he had a passion for children's ministry and singing. He was preceded in death by his wife, Billie; his brother, Jerry Marshall; his stepson, Carl Rue; and his parents. Survivors: He is survived by his son, Patrick Marshall and wife, Sam; stepson, Edwin Rue and wife, Pama; stepdaughter, Barbara Bell; grandchildren, Lacy Ford, Laura Tippett, Clayton Rue, Clifton Rue and Melissa Rue; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brother, Paul Marshall and wife, Kay; sister, Pat Olson and husband, Lyden; and many nieces and nephews.
