I knew Dwayne through working with him at SimuFlite / CAE and was very sorry to just now hear of his passing. Dwayne was a great coworker; great by being good at what he did with enough left over to have fun even when the days were tough.
I wish his family the best and want them to know how much he contributed to the wellbeing of others with whom he worked.

I sadly awoke to a reply to an email I sent Dwayne this morning from his wife Maureen about his passing. Dwayne was my cousin on my Fathers side. We connected several months ago on Ancestry.com. He was very kind and even though we never met face to face I felt a connection to him. I am very saddened to hear of his passing. I will treasure the book he sent me forever. He felt as strongly about family as I did. He had lovely things to say about my father. I remember going to Bakersfield with my Father to visit his Father, my Uncle Doyle as a child and swimming in the pool. Precious memories for me. RIP Cousin Dwayne. I will never forget you and my love goes out to your family.

I met Dwayne in 2010 as a young pilot with only a few hours of jet experience. He took time out of his schedule to review my resume, meet with me, and give me a brief tour of Simuflite. When many ignored me, Dwayne took a chance on me and I will be forever grateful. Thank you Dwayne, you will be missed but never forgotten.

In 1999 Dwayne and I were in the Civil Air Patrol together. I was an instructor pilot in Learjets for Simuflite. Dwayne came to me and asked if there were any openings. I walked his resume through and he was hired. Best decision the company could ever make. He was a superb instructor and great human being. I am sorry to hear of his passing. May he rest in peace.
