John J. Boluch Obituary
Dr. John J. Boluch, 89, went into the arms of his Savior on Saturday, May 4, 2013, with his family beside him. Service: 10 a.m. Wednesday at North Pointe Baptist Church, 147 E. Hurst Blvd., Hurst. Interment: Wednesday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Viewing: 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at North Pointe Baptist Church, 147 E. Hurst Blvd. Hurst, Texas. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude and Smiles. Dr. John J. Boluch, a first-generation American, was born Dec. 20, 1923, to John and Alma Boluch in Dallas, where he was raised. He attended Texas A&M University and the University of Texas at Galveston where he received his doctorate of medicine. Dr. John J. Boluch served 12 years in the United States Air Force, serving as a captain in World War II and the Korean War. After his service to his great nation, he pursued his passion of medicine. Dr. John J. Boluch was known as the first doctor in Hurst, where he not only took care of the community, he decided to raise his family. He actively helped establish, along with four other physicians, Glenview Hospital in Hurst where he served as chief of staff. Dr. John J. Boluch also served as chief of staff at Medical Plaza in Fort Worth. He not only loved his community and helping others, he was loved by them. Dr. John J. Boluch was a wonderful doctor and friend. He was well known and loved in the Tarrant County community, he will be sorely missed. Dr. John J. Boluch was an avid golfer and spent his later years traveling and enjoying the game. Survivors: Dr. John J. Boluch is survived by his three children, daughter, Rosanne (Mike) Dooling; daughter, MaryJane (Doug) Baker, son, John Jay Boluch; grandchildren, Shannon (Mike) Rollins, Tanya (Chris) Long, John (Michelle) Hickox, Bo (Janette) Hickox, Jodie (Jason) Rollins; great-grandchildren, Tiffany, Anna, Christopher, Nicole, Nicole D., Rianne, Kaylyn, McKenna, Samantha, Kallie, Danielle and Autumn; and great-great-grandchildren, Emma, Jaelyn and Taber.
