L. Wayne Renshaw Obituary
L. Wayne "Bus" Renshaw, 85, went to be with our Lord on Monday, May 20, 2013, in Arlington. Graveside service: 1 p.m. Friday in Aurora Cemetery in Aurora, the Rev. Calvary Callender officiating. Visitation: The family will receive friends 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Friday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home. Bus was born Sept. 6, 1927, in Decatur to Lafayette Wayne and Merle Margarette VanMeter Renshaw. He was a graduate of Rhome High School. Bus was united in marriage to Patricia Jean McGinnis in 1946 while he served in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II. Bus later married Greta Elizabeth Woods in 1968. He retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone as an engineer. Bus enjoyed traveling and spending time with his children, grandchildren and friends in Grand Prairie. Survivors: Left behind to cherish his memory are his sons, David Renshaw and Marisela of Frisco, Doug Renshaw of Austin and Dan Renshaw and wife, Maria, of San Antonio; four grandchildren, Mary and Micki Renshaw of San Antonio, Elisabeth and David William Renshaw of Frisco; brother, Larry Renshaw and wife, Carolyn, of Pittsburg; and friend, Bobbie Cochran.
