Vincent J. Moersch Obituary
Vincent J. Moersch passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2013. He was born Nov. 2, 1928, in Pittsburgh, Pa., to Leo A. Moersch and Nellie Brady Moersch. His family moved to Washington State where he met his wife, Pauline. They married in 1949. He served his country in the Navy and then the Marine Reserve where he was deployed during the Korean War. He and his family moved to Southern California where he was superintendant on many large hospitals, solar plants and nuclear power plants. He and his wife built and remodeled several homes. He enjoyed going to the beach and spending time in his RV. In 1991 he and his wife moved to the Dallas/Fort Worth area to be near their daughter, Cheryl Darrow. He and Pauline then moved to Arizona in 1997, and he enjoyed playing golf, creating stained glass windows and fusing glass bowls and vases. Vincent was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Vincent was always willing to help others who needed help. Survivors: Wife of 64 years Pauline Moersch, daughter, Cheryl and son-in-law, Ken Darrow; grandchildren: Megan Darrow, of Dallas and Geoff Darrow of Dallas. Preceded in death, parents; brothers, Regis and Edward and sister, Mary; son, Steven Moersch. Gone from our home but not our hearts. He will be missed.
