Rosario "Rosie" Ferralli Obituary
Rosario "Rosie" Ferralli, 66, passed away peacefully on Friday, Nov. 15, 2013, surrounded by family and friends. Funeral: Mass of Christian Burial, 11 a.m. Thursday, at St. Rita Catholic Church. Interment: Shannon Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation: 5 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Thompson's Harveson & Cole Funeral Home where a rosary will begin at 6 p.m. Memorials: Gifts in her memory may be made to St. Rita Catholic Church, Sacramental Preparation, 5550 E. Lancaster, Fort Worth, Texas 76112. Rosie was born Dec. 1, 1946, in Fort Worth, one of five daughters of Pedro and Loreto Reyes. She graduated from Nolan Catholic High School and received degrees from North Texas State University and Texas Christian University. She married Dino Ferralli on Feb. 28, 1970. Rosie was a devoted wife, mom and grandma to her family, whom she adored and selflessly cared for with all her heart. For many years, she taught Pre-K through second grade students with dedication and love. She embraced this calling until she changed her focus to a new role as a "grandma." Through all the years, she and Dino have been part of St. Rita Catholic Church community where she committed herself to youth sacramental preparation, as well as several other church ministries. Survivors: Husband, Dino Ferralli; daughters, Christina Titler and husband, Greg, Deanna Mahlstedt and husband, Mike, Joanna Childers and husband, Bill, Gina Ullrich and husband, Steve; grandchildren, Nicole and Noelle Titler, Connor, Gillian and Madeline Mahlstedt, Grace and Rachel Childers, Lauren Ullrich; sisters, Cecilia Reyes, Bettie Reyes, Mary Garcia and Susie Reyes; and many extended Reyes and Ferralli family members.
