Caitlyn Nicole "Caty" Carlile received her wings Sunday, Dec. 1, 2013. Funeral: 3 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 12, at First United Methodist Church in downtown Fort Worth. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Greenwood Funeral Home. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Texas Lions Camp or Special Olympics. Caty was born Jan. 5, 1997, in Fort Worth. She was very involved in the Miracle League of Arlington, Texas Lions Camp and Special Olympics where she won a number of medals, and she was a avid Texas Rangers fan. Caty was an angel sent to us who touched every life she came in contact with. Caitlyn was preceded in death by her grandmother, Getyes Boyter; brother, Cody Carlile; and her aunt, Melissa Carlile Parris. Survivors: Mother, Ann Marie Carlile; father and stepmother, David and Dena Carlile; sisters, Brittany Carlile and Arlyssa Carlile; niece, Brynleigh Carlile; grandparents, Ronnie and Frankie Carlile and Horace Boyter; great-grandmother, Kathryn Hart; special cousins, Tyler Carlile, Chelcie, Brad and Trey Parris; aunt, Tammie Vess and husband, James; stepbrother, Kelby Hancock; stepsister, Keely Hancock Kennemur and husband, Josh; many loving aunts, uncles and cousins; and a number of friends she touched.
