Rudolph M. "Rudy" Pulido Jr. Obituary
Rudolph "Rudy" M. Pulido Jr., 45, finished his earthly journey surrounded by his loving family and friends Friday, Jan. 17, 2014. Service: 10 a.m. Thursday at Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park. Rosary: 6 p.m. Wednesday in Greenwood Chapel. Memorials: The family requests expressions of sympathy and memorial donations be made to his favorite charities, North Texas Humane Society, Habitat for Humanity or especially to Alliance for Children. Rudy had a soft heart for pets and children. Rudy was born in Fort Worth on Sept. 9, 1968, to Rudolph "Rudy Sr." and Angie Medina Pulido. Rudy was a graduate of Arlington Heights High School. He earned a bachelor of science degree from Texas Wesleyan University. Rudy was a Realtor at Alexander Chandler Realty. He also was a member of the Greater Fort Worth Association of Realtors, a member of the alumni association of All Saints Episcopal School and a member of the Fort Worth Polo Club. Rudy was an avid snow skier, polo player and golfer but had been sidelined by a hip injury. He proudly served as an intern for U.S. Congressman Pete Geren upon graduation from the university. He enjoyed the title of being the youngest grand jury member to serve in Tarrant County and being teased as "practicing law without a license." To his friends, Rudy was known as a person always willing to help a friend or stranger and ask nothing in return. Rudy loved Fort Worth and he planned as one of his future endeavors to help bring a film industry and a possible film park to the Metroplex. Rudy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Pedro and Dionicia Pulido, and J.C. and Maria Medina. Rudy is survived by those who treasured 45 years with him. Survivors: Parents, Rudolph "Rudy Sr." and Angie Medina Pulido; beloved brother, Peter Anthony Pulido; uncles, Pete, Robert and wife, Carol Pulido, Philip Pulido, Ben and wife, Helen Cardenas, Frank and wife, Esther Sanchez; very special companion, Michelle Frausto; and cousins, Pete and Cathy Morales.
