Angelo John "Jay" Puma II, 51, a beloved husband, father, grandfather "Poppy," brother, uncle and cousin, went to be with his Savior on Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014. Service: Homegoing celebration will take place at noon Saturday, Feb. 1, at St. Matthew United Methodist Church, 2414 Hitson Ln., Fort Worth, 76112. Memorials: May be made to an organization that was close to Angelo's heart, All Things Outdoors, a non-profit organization started to bless and honor handicapped, disadvantaged, or hurting children and adults by providing first class hunting or outdoor adventures in a Christian ranch environment. www.Allthingsoutdoors.org. Angelo was born on Dec. 12, 1962, in Fort Worth to Angelo and Barbara Puma. He was a 1981 graduate from Haltom High School. As a veteran of the Air Force, he received recognition for being the very first Certified Surgical Specialist in the USAF and continued to work in surgery as a CFA/CST for 28 years. Throughout his life, he made many memories with others, hunting and fishing in the great outdoors. Angelo was also a well-respected Taxidermist and owner of Puma Taxidermy. Angelo was loved by many and his memory will live on through his family and friends. Survivors: Wife of 33 years, Marla Puma; daughter, Victoria Tyson and husband, James; son, Angelo Puma III; sister, Marci (Ron); brothers, Ronny, Tony (Victoria), and Carmen (Mitzi); grand-daughter, Cozette "Cozy" Tyson; grandson, Tristan (Susan); great-grandson, Kendrick; lifelong friend, Brian Boraas; and numerous family members and friends whom he loved with all his heart.
