Simona Espitia "Gramer" Aguilar Obituary
Simona "Gramer" Espitia Aguilar, 96, passed away Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014. Funeral: 2 p.m. Friday at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Rosary: 6 p.m. Thursday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Simona was born Oct. 28, 1917, in Fort Worth to Anastacia and Pascual Espitia. The family wishes to thank her special and dear friend, Bonnie Pena Castillo, and Lion Hospice, especially Aubrey, Rhonda, Sara and Serhonda, for their loving care. Simona was preceded in death by her husband, Gabriel "Shorty Brown" Aguilar; and sister, Elydia Avina. Survivors: Sister, Escolastica Galvan of Dallas; brother, Francisco Espitia of Tennessee; son, Carlos Aguilar (Carolina); daughters, Eloisa "Lois" Galindo (George) of San Antonio, Virginia Hernandez and Yolanda Duarte (Cosme) of Fort Worth; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
