Ralph Perry Wallace, 59, passed away Sunday, April 27, 2014, surrounded by family and friends. Memorial service: 11 a.m. Saturday at McKinney Memorial Bible Church in Fort Worth. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to First Tee, www.thefirstteeftworth.org, or Cook Children's Medical Center of Fort Worth, www.cookchildrens.org. Dr. Wallace was born Sept. 2, 1954, in Sweetwater to Dr. Ralph and Lynn Wallace. Perry graduated from Temple High School in 1971 and Texas A&M University in 1975. Perry continued to medical school at TCOM where he graduated in 1980 and completed his anesthesia residency in 1983 at the University of Texas in Houston. Perry earned the distinguished position of medical director of OB anesthesia at John Peter Smith Hospital before retiring in January 2013, while also being awarded lifetime honorary staff privileges. Perry enjoyed golf, playing piano and guitar, and traveling with his wife, children and grandchildren. As much renown as he garnered professionally, his greatest joy was his family. He was a loving husband, proud father and faithful friend, accurately referred to by his children as "King of the World, Master of the Universe and Greatest Dad in the Whole Galaxy." Survivors: Wife, Christine O'Sullivan Wallace; daughter, Blair Elizabeth Reed and husband, Adam Ryan Reed; sons, Gavin Perry Wallace and Rane Perry Wallace and fiancee, Sara Kardash; daughter, Paige Elizabeth Wallace; grandchildren, Grayson Ryan Reed and Bailey Elisabeth Reed; parents, Dr. Ralph and Lynn Wallace; brother, Dr. Brett Wallace and wife, Linda; and sisters, Kathleen Wallace, Beth Worley and husband, Joel, and Dr. Jennifer Wallace and husband, Paul Bertelli.
