Jack Lynwood Judson

1931 - 2017

Dr. Jack Lynwood Judson was welcomed home to the spiritual world on Monday, April 17, 2017. Dr. Judson was surrounded by his first and only love and wife of 60 years, Mary Anne, and his four children; Mark, Thomas, Beth, and Brad. Memorial Service: 10 a.m. Monday, April 24, at the Church of the Holy Apostles. Interment: Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Memorials: Donations may be made to the Church of the Holy Apostles or Service Dogs for Heroes. Pallbearers: Dr. Roger Moore, Joe Coss, Curtis, Connor and Clay Harrell, Drew Judson and Will Judson. Born in 1931, in Topeka, Kan., Dr. Judson was a graduate of Paseo High School in Kansas City, the University of Kansas, Yale Medical School, and the University of Oklahoma, School of Public Health. In addition to being a respected medical doctor of 60 years, Dr. Judson was a flight surgeon in the United States Air Force where he attained the rank of colonel and was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal. Dr. Judson was employed at General Dynamics and Lockheed Martin until his retirement. A Christian gentleman, dedicated father, and patriot, Dr. Judson will be perpetually missed by his family and friends. He was welcomed home by his parents, Beatrice and Forrest; friends, and family. Survivors: Wife, Mary Anne; children, Mark and wife, Melissa, Thomas, Beth and husband, Curtis, and Brad; grandchildren, Allison, Clay, Connor, Drew, Hannah, Sarah, Sophie and William; sister, Carol; nieces, Kathy, Lori and Sherry; nephews, David, Gary and Rusty.
