Ford, Mary Catherine Wollett  
Ford Mary Catherine Wollett Ford, of Gahanna, Ohio and Scottsdale, Arizona, died Sunday, December 14, 2014. She was born on December 23, 1924 in Murray City, Ohio, to Lawrence Wollett and Myrtle Chivers. She graduated from South High School in 1942 and retired from Kull Jewelers and Public Employee Retirees, Inc. She was a member of Linden Heights Methodist Church and attended St Alban's Episcopal Church. Mary is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law, Linda (Rhoads) Kurtz and Charles J. Kurtz, III; her grandchildren, Chad (Debbie) Kurtz, and Cathy (Sean) Vrenna; her great grandchildren, Margaret and Charlotte Kurtz; her brother, Joe H. Wollett and preceded in death by brothers William S. Wollett, Jack E. Wollett and Robert A. Wollett and their wives. Arrangements by SCHOEDINGER MIDTOWN, 229 E. State Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215. Fisher, Jan Elizabeth Ashcraft  
Fisher Jan Elizabeth Ashcraft McCollough Fisher, age 55 of Columbus, went home to be with Jesus at Doctors West Hospital Columbus on Thursday, December 18, 2014. She was born on December 15, 1959 to Leon and Karen Ashcraft of Utica. Our bright, beautiful little lady who inherited her mothers love for horses. She began riding and showing horses at a very early age. Jan was an honor student all thru her school years including college. She graduated from East Knox in 1978 where she was homecoming queen. She attended Cedarville College for 2 years before marrying David McCollough, a marriage that ended in divorce, but God gave her two beautiful children, David Ryan and Mandi Nash. Ryan is married to Britney Buckingham McCollough and has four very handsome boys. Mandi is married to Joel Nash and they have three children, two girls and a boy. Jan dearly loved her grandchildren, they loved to snuggle with her. Jan graduated from the Mt. Vernon Nazarene College with a Communications degree in 1994. She went on to become the Director of Wentworth Gallery City Center and worked in both the Columbus & Chicago Markets. Jan remarried Mark Fisher, a Honda Engineer, in 2005 in Hawaii and lived in Columbus, Ohio. Jan worked for some time with Boyer & Boyer Financial of Pickerington, OH. Jan is survived by her parents, Karen and Leon Ashcraf; her sister, Jeri and John Garner of Nashville, TN; her brothers, L. Eric and Jenni Ashcraft of Utica, OH, Chris and Jen Ashcraft of Galena, OH; her aunts, Sharon and Denny Zolman of Mt Vernon, OH, Patti and Stan Zimmer of Bradenton, FL; and many precious nieces and nephews. Jan was preceded in death by her grandparents J.M. "Shady" and Dorothy Beatty, Meredith and Mary Ashcraft, her Uncle Bill Beatty and her Aunt Donna Stacey. Friends may call on Saturday, December 20th from 4-8 p.m. at LASATER FUNERAL HOME, 11337 Upper Gilchrist Road in Mount Vernon. Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 2 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church, 8764 Martinsburg Rd., Mount Vernon, Ohio with Pastor Doug Forsythe officiating. Burial will follow in Martinsburg Cemetery. Jan was diagnosed with cancer 6 years ago, she fought an amazing battle and did extremely well up until September, 2014. She never gave up and quit was not in her vocabulary. She lost her battle with cancer December 18, 2014 she will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. Flick, Eva Mae  
Flick Eva Mae Flick, age 93, of Trillium Place, died Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Westminster Thurber. She was born March 29, 1921 in Grantsville, WV to the late Arzona and Harley Kelley. She grew up in Belpre, Ohio as the middle child of seven siblings. She met her husband William Flick, of Astoria, Long Island, New York, while working in Chicago during WWII. They married in 1945 and resided in New York and Connecticut before moving to Columbus in 1960. Eva was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who made her family and church her life's priorities. She was a former member of East Baptist Church and First Baptist Church in Columbus, and was a current member of Eastside Grace Brethren Church. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2008, and siblings Pat Eckels, Harold Kelley, William Kelly, Dorothy Eckert, Rata Hall and Robert Kelley. She was the loving mother of two daughters, Vicki Turner of Pickerington, Donna (Douglas) Prehm of Dublin, who survive her, along with grandsons, Matthew (Melissa) Turner of Chesapeake, VA, Jeffrey Turner of Columbus; and sister-in-law, Arlene Kelley, who resides in Trillium Place. Friends may visit 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 550 Hill Road N. Forsbach, James Stanley - Gahanna  
Forsbach James Stanley Forsbach, January 1, 1945 - December 16, 2014 New Albany, Ohio. Jim Forsbach, age 69, was born in Columbus and grew up in Plain City, Ohio. Jim's father was from Corning, Ohio and was a member of our Armed Forces. Jim is survived by his beloved wife, Donna of 47 years; and their two beautiful, intelligent granddaughters, Emily and Sarah, who were the apple of his eye, and whom he was always so very proud of and considered them to be the real blessing in his life. Jim loved his family very much and they gave great meaning to his life. Jim lived a fascinating life. In addition to working in the insurance field, Jim also served as a pilot, and was in the photography business before fulfilling his lifelong ambition in becoming a world class shooting coach. Jim was a trap shooting champion and was inducted into the Ohio Trapshooting Hall of Fame in 2012. He was an Ambassador to the shotgun sports. Jim loved the sport and taught hundreds of people how to properly shoot. Jim's students included everyone from dignitaries, business leaders and professional athletes to young people at the local shooting clubs and shooting enthusiasts from all over the world. Jim appreciated the craftsmanship that went into making quality guns and had a tremendous eye for detail. Jim was a great friend to so many people. Additionally, Jim was a dedicated advocate and longtime member of the NRA. Jim was also a diehard American patriot who was so very proud of our country and all the service members who served our great nation. During his lifetime, Jim traveled the world. He was well read, knowledgeable and had a brilliant mind and a warm personality. He had a strong opinion, a good sense of humor and a gentle kindness for those he cared about. Jim was a great storyteller and fun to be around. A Memorial Service, honoring Jim's life, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, December 19, 2014 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Road in Gahanna. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ohio State Trapshooting Association (Youth Program). Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. Fulton Iras M. Fulton, 71, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2014. IRAS was born October 14, 1943 in CHICAGO, IL to HARRISON and MARY ANDERSON. She was the first African American woman in Chicago to drive an 18 wheel truck for CCA Corporation in 1973. She graduated from Sangamon State University with a B.A. May 12, 1990. She is survived by five children, Joseph H. Pierce, Catherine M. Pierce, Rhonda Lawrence, Lemont Pierce Jr., Milco M. Posey; two sisters, Venita Smith and Janet Anderson. She is preceded in death by a son Marcus Johnson, both parents, four brothers, one sister. Fairley Esther Fairley, 32, of Columbus, passed away Friday, December 12, 2014 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. She was born February 15, 1982 in Columbus. Esther was preceded in death by her father Edgar Fairley and nephew Damajh Thompson. She is survived by her mother, Shirley Staples Fairley; children, Ivan Washington and Aubree Robinson; grandmother, Amelia Bellamy; siblings, Michael Cappanzzi, Tracy (Larry) Hurt, Eric Fairley, Shereika (Tracy) Peaks, Danilla (Juan) Elmore, Jason Fairley and an extended host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Fibelkorn, Stephanie Jeanette - Columbus  
Fibelkorn Stephanie Jeanette Fibelkorn, age 21, passed away unexpectedly December 12, 2014. Stephanie was born in Pittsburgh, PA on August 31, 1993, the youngest daughter of Stephen Mark and Mary JoAnn (Weiner) Fibelkorn. Stephanie was a third year student at the Ohio State University, majoring in Mechanical engineering. Stephanie was a graduate of the Disney College Program, and a graduate of Olentangy High School. At the time of her passing Stephanie was providing intern support for the City of Columbus supporting Transportation Planning Services. Stephanie was a volunteer with the American Diabetes Association, as well as COSI. Her life ambition was to be a Disney Imagineer building more features to bring joy to families. Stephanie is preceded in death by her grandparents Barbara Jean Lehenbauer Fibelkorn, Joseph Pius Weiner and Leonard Stewart Ford. Along with her parents Stephen and Mary, Stephanie is survived by her sister, Jessica Marie Fibelkorn; and sister-in-law, Jaqueline Nicole Quinones; grandparents, Anna Marie Nelson Ford and John Edward Fibelkorn; 17 aunts and uncles and 17 cousins. A Celebration of Life for Stephanie Fibelkorn will be held at the Riffe Center Auditorium, 3rd Floor, 77 S. High St., in Downtown Columbus, Wednesday, December 17, 2014. The family will receive friends 3-4 p.m. with the memorial service beginning at 4 p.m. A reception will follow the memorial service until 6 p.m. All people who knew Stephanie or want to honor her memory are welcome. Flaherty Brian Patrick Flaherty, age 70, died Saturday, December 13, 2014, at his home. Preceded in death by parents Patrick and Nora Flaherty, brother Patrick Flaherty. Survived by sons, Trevor and Daniel (Jean) Flaherty; grandchildren, Morgan and Dylan Flaherty; brothers, Dennis Flaherty, Kevin (Ann) Flaherty, Thomas (Robin) Flaherty and Michael Flaherty, three nephews; two nieces; former wife, Joyce Flaherty; special friend Linda Hoskins. Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Brian graduated from Cathedral Latin High School. He then moved to Columbus and graduated from The Ohio State University. He was a lifelong, avid reader of history; developed a love for jazz and folk music; played softball with his friends and family; followed the Cleveland Indians; visited his favorite city, New York; and most of all, loved playing with his grandchildren. Flesch Sarah Ann Flesch, 56, of Columbus, went home to be with Jesus, Friday, December 12, 2014. She was born in Columbus to the late Sandy and Irene Murray. She was an avid collector, very artistic, enjoyed reading, cooking and family gatherings. She had a great heart and loved everyone especially her family and her pets. Sarah had a strong Christian faith and love for her Lord. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by Rick's parents Samuel and Rose Flesch. Sarah is survived by her loving husband, Rick, who she was with for over 40 years; daughters, Rachel and Emily; sister, Debra (William); sister-in-law, Karen (Steve); and nephews and niece, Ryan, Jennifer and William.
