Tyrer Fisher McMahon and Earl H. Fisher. She was raised in Columbus, Ohio and attended St. Mary's of the Springs. She married her High School sweetheart, Robert (Bob) Mauger, Jr. in 1951 and enjoyed 63 years of marriage. Bob preceded her in death on August 14, 2014. Together, they were blessed with three children, Robert (Bob) Mauger, III, Findlay, OH, Laura Mauger, Kill Devil Hills, NC and Kristen (Bob) Allison, Corona del Mar, CA. She was a beloved Grandmother to Erin Mauger, Amy Mauger (Ben) Brooks, Corey (Cecile) Mauger, Zane McKnight and Taylor Shumate, and six great-grandchildren, Mason Hill, Kyley, Alex, Ethan Mauger, and Kennedy and Jackson Brooks. Helen worked for North American Aviation as a secretary while her husband served in the Marines. They moved from Columbus to Findlay, OH in 1957 when her husband joined her Father in-laws growing business, Mauger Exterminating. To fulfill her passion for fashion and performing, she and friend, Sarah Worthington, formed the Modeling Troupe, Tre' Chic. They performed throughout the mid-west with their elaborately created fashion statements and humorous presentations. Helen modeled for Sears and started their Charm School and Modeling program in Findlay. She entered the family business in the 70's and was the office manager for Mauger Exterminating. She and Bob purchased Riverside Marina in Port Clinton, Ohio in 1972 and loved going to the Marina and growing the business while enjoying their love for good times at Lake Erie, boats and friendships. Helen loved her family, friends, golf, visiting family on the east and west coast and traveling for historical pleasure. Her favorite memories were taking family road trips and camping throughout the US. They had the pleasure of a short retirement in Bradenton, Florida and moved back to Findlay a few years ago full-time for health reasons. Helen had a remarkable zest for life, quick wit, lovely charm, excellent memory, remarkable recall which contributed to her great storytelling. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, a 60 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Lady Shriner, Dolls Dancer, and most importantly an amazing mother, grandmother and wife! We will miss her and the warmth and love she brought to our family and her many friends. We rejoice in her joining Bob at our Lord's side.
