Rich, Donna Jean  
Rich Donna Jean Rich, 84, of Columbus, Ohio passed Friday, August 7, 2015, at Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. She had suffered from Alzheimer's; death was due to pneumonia. She was born September 1, 1930, in Wadesville, West Virginia, daughter of the late Kenneth Blake Eaton and Minnie Gale Eaton. A woman of faith and spirituality, she maintained a tireless Christian example, gave generously of her time and resources to help those in need, and actively participated in various mission projects, prayer groups and other church activities. She loved and was very proud of her family. Donna had retired from Ohio Operating Engineers and had been a member of Living Waters Church of God in Marysville, Ohio. She is survived by her brother, William Eaton of West Jefferson, Ohio; a daughter, Adina Renee Cook of Louisville, Kentucky; and son, Darian Kevin Rich of Ontario, Canada; and five grandchildren. Her service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, September 5, 2015, at the Wadesville Cemetery in Wadesville, West Virginia. Please send your notes of memory to donnarichmemorial@gmail.com

Russo, Olga  
Russo Olga Russo, age 91, passed away peacefully Thursday, August 13, 2015 at Friendship Village of Columbus. Born August 25, 1923 in Columbus, OH, daughter of the late Angelo Marchi and Luisa Bisutti Marchi. Olga attended Sacred Heart School. Preceded in death by husbands Wellman Ray Schug and Sal Russo, brother Aldo Marchi, sister Rina Linder. She is survived by sister, Norma Mnich. Also survived by children, Michael and David Schug; granddaughter, Trista (Brian) Wade; great-grandchildren, RaeAnn Lyle and Corrinn Wade; and many nieces and nephews. Olga loved travel and dancing. She was a very kind and wonderful person who had a beautiful heart and will be missed very much. Graveside Service 11 a.m. Friday, September 4, 2015 at St. Joseph Cemetery. Rees Byron "Tom" Rees, age 79, of Grove City, passed away August 26, 2015 at his residence. Tom retired from Wonder Bread; he was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church; Grove City Lodge #689 F&AM and Grove City Eastern Star #502. He was preceded in death by his wife Sue, daughters Patricia Diane Hockenberry and Lori Dawn Long. He is survived by his son, Richard; and grandsons, Joshua and Brandon. Racher (Tague) Dorothy (Tague) Racher, age 91, of Upper Arlington, OH, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2015. She was born July 10, 1924 in New Lexington, OH to the late Paul and Blanche (Gordon) Tague. Dorothy received a Bachelor's Degree in Education from The Ohio State University in 1946 where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority. She worked as a first grade teacher at Chicago Avenue School in Columbus for several years before becoming a Mother and Homemaker. She was a long time member of Saint Agatha Catholic Church. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57-years, Frank L. Racher and her four siblings Robert, Joseph, Paul, Jr., and Rosemary. She is survived by daughter, Susan (Michael) Matrka; sons, Daniel (Susan) of Raleigh, NC, Paul (Lou Ann), Timothy (Donna) of Atlanta, GA, and James (Tricia); grandchildren, Emily (Sandro) Olvera, James (Carolina), Megan (Josh), and Joseph Rogers, Tara, Daniel, Megan, and Connor Matrka, Caroline and Matthew Racher, Amanda and Emma Racher, Erin, Mark, and Jennie Racher, Elizabeth, Molly, Meredith, and Jimmy Racher; great-grandchildren, Pedro and Monica Olvera; sister-in-law, Joanne (Harry) Ponikvar of Warren, OH; many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. Her family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. Fifth Ave., Columbus (with a Prayer Service at 6:45 p.m., presided by Monsignor John K. Cody). Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 28, 2015 at Saint Agatha Catholic Church, 1860 Northam Road, Upper Arlington, OH, with Monsignor Paul P. Enke as Celebrant. Ratcliff, John Filmore - Carroll  
Ratcliff John Filmore Ratcliff, age 78 of Carroll, OH, died on August 22, 2015. He was born on August 27, 1936 to the late William and Thelma Ratcliff in Fort Gay, WV. He graduated from Fort Gay High School in 1955. John worked in management for Accurate Plastics and worked in design for Frigidaire Appliance and retired from Battelle Columbus. He attended Grace Bible Church and was a member of Lithopolis Lodge #161 F. & A.M. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers Billy Ratcliff, Charles Ratcliff and James Adkins, sister Wanda Johnson. Survivors include his loving wife of 57 years, Peggy (Haynes) Ratcliff; children, John F. (Tammy) Ratcliff Jr. of Deleware, Roger L. Ratcliff of Carroll and Pamela J. (Andrew Billingsley) Sommer of Carroll; grandchildren, Phelicia (Sean) Auffart, Edward "Aron" Sommer, Ian F. Sommer, Natasha Williams and Christie Stout; great grandchildren, Tyler, Hannah and Oliver; sisters, Dorothy "Carol" Proctor of Cannelton, WV and Judith (Gene) Morrissey of Columbus; and brother, Paul "David" (Johannah) Ratcliff of Fort Gay, WV; sister-in-law, Rebecca McCann; brothers-in-law, Gary Haynes of Laurelville, OH and Fred Haynes of Mt. Reece Nikki Ann Reece, age 40, of Croton, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 19, 2015. Rodebaugh David Preston Rodebaugh, age 26, passed away peacefully, August 12, 2015, following a pedestrian-biking accident July 23, 2015. He was in the surround of his parents, grandparents, medical and Christian /Jewish pastoral teams, and many friends at King's County Trauma Hospital, Brooklyn, NY. He is survived by his parents, Gregory Scott Rodebaugh, Upper Arlington, Ohio and Nancy Jean Millar, Columbus, Ohio; grandparents, David A Gribble and Dr. Helen Davis (Gribble) Rodebaugh, Robert Millar and Jodi (Millar) Hoover; uncle, R. Scott Millar; great uncles and aunts, Scott and Joan Davis, Jim and Sheila Davis and Mary Davis; many cousins, and dear friend, Saskia Thode; closest of family friends, D. James Gerou, Debra Ward, Birgitta Nostring, and Phillip Perry. David was preceded in death by adoptive grandfather Donald Rodebaugh, Wichita, Kansas, great grandparents Edward and Ellene Davis, Arnold and Twila Gribble of Garden City, Kansas, and Byron and Ella Reynolds, and Robert and Marie Millar of Detroit, MI. David was born at St. Ann's Hospital in Westerville, Ohio April 3, 1989. He received public education within Olentangy and Upper Arlington School Districts. He attended private educational programs through, Mary Evans FCC Christian School, St. Mary's German Village School, Columbus College of Art and Design, Arlington School of Music, Gahanna Riding School, Sawmill Athletic and Olentangy Swim/Tennis Clubs and others. With his coaches, mentors, families and friends, he enjoyed caring for and rescuing pets, participating in family arts and trade events, swimming, golf, billiards, music groups, fishing, and bike/board competitions. His post high school education and training took him to Brooklyn, New York where he advanced his studies of cycling mechanics and design engineering which earned him many awards for cycle customization, event organization and platform production. He performed as a bicyclist, holding regional and national titles. As a practical artist, like his father and his mother, he conceived, developed and exhibited multi-media art through sculptures in metals and wood, painting in water and oil, and photographs and videos of landscapes and sporting events. David was well known and highly regarded for his inclusive humanity, conscientious supportive nature and generous sharing his knowledge, skills and resources with others. David and his golden lab, Newman, were well known by enthusiasts in bike/board sports, fine arts and crafts from all walks of life. David's fan base spanned the US and internationally, through world class cycling athletes, artists and craftsman. David was blessed with a big heart and member of healthy growing families in Ohio, Kansas, Arkansas, California, Colorado and Michigan. He was loved and cherished by many acquaintances, friends and families whom he valued throughout his childhood and young adult life. Celebrations of David's life will be held in NYC, Upper Arlington, Ohio with final interment in Garden City, Kansas through the First Methodist Church, Memorial Gardens. Rev. Scott E. Davis and James B. Davis will administer and officiate David's multiple services with times and locations to be announced by SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL. Memorial contributions may be made in David's name to Neurological and Orthopedic Health R&D, Christian /Jewish Education and Pastoral Care, and Donors for Life Missions. Rowland, Ruth Ann  
Rowland (Hanger) Ruth Ann Rowland, fondly known as "Ann" or "Annie", 94, of Hilliard, passed away August 16, 2015. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, William Rowland; her children, Marilyn Hicks (Howard), Janet Brookbank, Joe Hanger; and stepdaughter, Christy Walker (Greg) and family. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Christine, Jennifer (Stan) and Jeffrey (Scott); and great grandchildren, Kylie, Quintin and Bridget; as well as many nieces and nephews scattered around the country. She was predeceased by her first husband of 32 years, Joseph C. Hanger. She retired from the West Ohio Conference Offices of the United Methodist Church. She was a 74 year member of Triangle Chapter of the Eastern Stars and a member of Hilliard United Methodist Church. In her 1939 yearbook from West High School it read under her picture "Full of Grace." This is exactly how she lived her life with her family, friends and neighbors, always generous and thoughtful. Fond memories of times spent at Buckeye Lake, Pizza Cottage and the Top Hat in Junction City will be cherished forever. Heartfelt thanks go to the staff at First Community Village and NCR Hospice staff for their exceptional care. At her request there will be no funeral. Ruggles Marcia Jo Ruggles, 59, passed away August 23, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents. Marcia is survived by her husband of 34 years, Bob Ruggles.
