Sullivan Rosemary "Rose" K. Sullivan, age 55, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Select Specialty Care Hospital. Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who will be sorely missed. Tantarelli, Victor Vincent  
Tantarelli Victor Vincent Tantarelli, age 56, passed away Friday, June 26, 2015 at Kobacker House, after a courageous battle with cancer. Vic was the founder and owner of Vic's Body Shop in Columbus and was an avid race driver. Preceded in death by his mother Rita Marie (Rae) Tantarelli and father-in-law George P. Ferri. Vic is survived by his loving wife of 31 years and care giver during his illness, Barbara Diane (Ferri) Tantarelli; daughter, Erica (Jeff) Green; son, Victor R. (Stacey Mitchell) Tantarelli; grandchildren, Giovanni and Victoria Rose Green; father, Anthony "Tony" Salvatore Tantarelli; brothers, Rick, Tony and Michael Tantarelli; aunt, Phyllis Poletti; uncles, Vincent and John Tantarelli; brother-in-law, George Allen (Susan) Ferri; mother-in-law, Marilyn (Chet) Fahner; step-mother-in-law, Alyce Jean Ferri; step-sister-in-law, Sheryl (Scott) Sliwinski; and step-brother-in-law, Philip Purcell; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Vickery, Virginia  
Vickery Virginia Vickery, age 90, of Orient, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2015. Charter member of Faith Baptist Church; where she was a dedicated and faithful servant of Christ. She retired from Medibill as Vice President. Preceded in death by loving husband Thomas Vickery who passed away on December 10, 2013, parents Rosoe and Bessie Thompson, six brothers and two sisters. Survived by children, Diana (Mike) Grove, Eric (Rita) Merritt and Joe (Pam) Merritt; brother, Pastor Paul Thompson; sister, Ruth Ohlinger; five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, a host of friends and her church family. Woods, Ruth E. - Logan  
Woods Ruth E. Woods, 82, of Columbus, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at her residence. She was born June 4, 1933 in Lawrence County, Ohio, daughter of the late Elwood and Carmon Thompson Holley. Ruth is survived by her son, Roger (Tina) Woods of Columbus; daughters, Linda Siders of Grove City and Patty (Steve) Jeffers of Coolville; 14 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and two sisters, Mary Alice and Wuanita. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Ernest Eugene Woods. Funeral service will be held 12Noon Friday, July 3, 2105 in the GARRETT-CARDARAS FUNERAL HOME, 201 W. Young, James M.  
Young James M. Young, "Jim" to his friends, passed away at age 63. Our hero was born in Pennsylvania, to James and Elizabeth Young. In 1963 his parents moved the family to Columbus, Ohio, and settled in Upper Arlington where Jim graduated from Upper Arlington High School in 1969. In 1967, he began working at Presutti's Villa Restaurant where he met the love of his life, Alfreda Presutti. Their journey as husband and wife began when they took their parents with them to elope in 1973. Jim's had a 28 year career in the automotive industry with Volkswagen AG and Audi and he was first to earn the prestigious ASE Master Technician Certification in Columbus Ohio, which he continued for over 25 years. Jim's talent and ability earned him the opportunity to work in Germany to assist in development of the Audi V8 for the American market. Jim's long career with Volkswagen AG earned him many awards and his achievements are too many to list. In 1989 the company moved the family from Plain City Ohio to Houston Texas and in 1994 to Fountain Hills Arizona. Jim loved to both play guitar and listen to music, he was a teacher and mentor to many and would drop anything he was doing to help someone out. Jim's passion was his family, his home and he would rather be with his wife, children and grandchildren than anywhere else on earth. He loved being a father and set an exemplary example. He was a quiet, gentle loving man whose cup was always half full. Shortly before his death he was blessed with a new baby granddaughter for his birthday. He is survived by his wife, Alfreda; children, Desiree Hickey (Kurtis), Jimmy Young (Kathy), and Santo Young (Angela); grandchildren, Michael Young, Nicholas Young, Kurby Hickey and Daphne Hickey, and Kylie Howard; mother, Elizabeth Young; brothers, Michael and Jeff (Mary); and sisters, Betty (Dan)and Barb (Richard); and is preceded in death by his father James R. Young. A Catholic service will be held Saturday, July 11, at 10 a.m. Our Lady of Victory Church, 1559 Roxbury Rd., Columbus, Ohio 43212. Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial celebration of Jim's life and remember the good times on Sunday, July 12, 2015 from noon until 6 p.m. at Foxwater Farm, 3515 Big Plain Circleville Rd., London, Ohio 43140. Baisden Janice Baisden, age 81, went home to the Lord surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by husbands Harold Baisden and Carl Scarberry, daughters Patricia and Donna and son Ricky. Brown, Patsy Jo McComas  
Brown Patsy Jo McComas Brown, 85, of Ironton, OH, passed away June 29, 2015 in Columbus, Ohio. Mrs. Brown was born December 2, 1929 in Ironton, Ohio, daughter of the late Leonard Charles and Clara Roberts Venz. She attended Ironton schools and graduated from Ironton High School in 1948. She was formerly employed in the offices of the Ironton Tribune, Dayton Malleable Iron Co., and Chapman Drug Co. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church where she served as a Deacon; a member of the Lawrence County General Hospital Auxiliary; and was a volunteer at the First Methodist Church food pantry. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband James E. "Hunk" Brown who died in January, 2000. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Alan Venz McComas and Janie McComas of Powell, Ohio and Patrick Charles McComas and Kathy McComas of Las Vegas, Nevada; one stepdaughter and stepson, Debra Brown Hendrickson and Ed Hendrickson of Muskegon, Michigan; five grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren, Luke (Lindsay) McComas, Ashley (Jason) Miller, Rachel (Chris) Griego, Patrick McComas, Braedin Hendrickson, Sara Ward, and Shawn Ward; two great grandchildren, Camryn and Hayden Griego; a sister-in-law, Juanita Brown Thomas of Ironton, Ohio. Graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, July 3, 2015, at Woodland Cemetery with Rev. Jan Williams officiating. Davidson, Helen E.  
Davidson Helen E. Davidson, age 91, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 29, 2015 at her residence. Helen was born in Chews, New Jersey. She worked at Curtis Publishing Co. On March 2, 1946 Helen married George Davidson. They then moved to Flint, MI where they attended Bethel Assembly of God where Helen taught Sunday School for many years. Helen is survived by her daughter, Pam (Larry) Justice; grandchildren, Jennifer (Tim) Claypoole, Chad (Anne) Justice; great grandchildren, Kira, Troy, and Grace. Helen was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years. Cremation has taken place. A service will be held at Grand Blanc Evergreen Cemetery in Grand Blanc, MI, where Helen's remains will be placed next to her beloved husband. Douthitt Cindy Lou Douthitt, 51, of Columbus, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2015 in Columbus, Ohio. Cindy was born October 22, 1963 on an Indian Reservation in Oklahoma to Frank and Margaret Allen. She was preceded in death by her grandson Darion Douthitt, uncle Jack Barr, step-mother Lelia Lebouef and her father-in-law Maurice Douthitt, Jr. Cindy was employed by the Walmart Distribution Center Center in Grove City. She is survived by her loving husband, Darrel, with whom she lived with for 25 years, and was married 15 years; daughters, Lucinda (David) Upperman, Kassandra Allen, Lacey (Matt) Hatten, and Devon (Loren) Hartley; sisters, Patsy (David) Cook, and Margaret Allen; brothers, John Barr, Frank (Graceann) Allen, Jr., Jake Allen; and step father, Alvin Lebouef; aunt, Bobbie and uncle, Dave Rodgers; mother-in-law, Donna Douthitt; brother-in-law, Mark Douthitt; 15 grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
