Elliott Rosemarie Elliott, age 59, passed away Monday, July 27, 2015 at The Ohio State University Hospital. 1974 Graduate Bishop Ready High School and then went on to get B.A. RN at Ohio Dominican College; 23 years of service at St. Rita's Nursing Home. Attended St. Thomas Moore Newman Center Catholic Church. Preceded in death by parents John and Cecilia Metzger. Survived by husband of 34 years, James Elliott; children, Matthew, Michael, and Nicholas; and numerous friends. Friends may call at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 2693 W. Grannan, Mary-Margaret "Peg" - Fort Wayne  
Grannan Mary-Margaret "Peg" Grannan, 91, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2015 in Fort Wayne. Born in Columbus, OH, Peg worked as a medical tech for over 40 years, most recently at Lutheran Hospital where she retired. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Surviving are children, John (Cheryl) Grannan of Fort Wayne, Michael (Cherrie) Grannan of Dallas, TX, Kathleen (George) Widmer of Fort Wayne, Patricia Jacobs of Fort Wayne and Judy Munoz of Fort Wayne; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and her brother, Forrest (Peggy) Curtin of Springfield, OH. Peg was preceded in death by her husband John "Jack" Grannan, Sr., parents Forrest and Hedwig Curtin, and her brother Robert Curtin. Mass of Christian Burial is 1:30 p.m. Saturday, August 1, 2015 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4916 Trier Rd., with calling 1 hour prior. Calling also at D. O. Hensley Patrick Douglas Hensley, age 52, passed away July 28, 2015. Pat was born February 16, 1963 to the late Thelma Hensley. He was employed with the City of Columbus-Road Maintenance for 16 years. He is survived by wife, Debbie; sons, Patrick and Kevin Hensley; daughters, Rachel Hensley and Jesse Hensley; grandchildren, Michael, Mark, Easton, Tiffany, Rachelle, and Angel; brothers, Jeff, Jimmy, and John; sisters, Rebecca, Maryland and Christina; cousins, Danny, David, Brenda, Carol, Barb; and many Aunts, Uncles, and friends. Hollingsworth Melinda R. "Mindy" Hollingsworth, age 49, of Orient, went to be with her heavenly father July 26, 2015. Mindy graduated from Grove City High School. She was an employee of Tiger Poly. She is survived by her husband, Keith; mother, Cindy and Mark; father, Mike and Tammy; sons, Joseph "JD", Trevor Alan (deceased), Trenton, Keith and Lars; daughters, Sabrina (EJ) and Samantha (Danny); granddaughter, Safire and unborn grandson, Daniel "Lil" Dan; sister, Dona and Todd; mother-in-law, Diania (Chris); sisters-in-law, Tracy (Jerry) and Crystal (Larry); nephews, Dustin, Randy (Jessica); niece, Teylor (Jay); great nieces and nephews, Dustin Jr., Maddox, Jayde, Aerionna, Justin, Nevaeh, Hunter, Gunner, Brayden, Allen, David, Steven and Jason. Johnston, Mary Kathleen "Kay"  
Johnston Mary Kathleen "Kay" Johnston, 93, Westerville, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2015. Kay was born in Covington, OH, on May 20, 1922, to Martin and Naomi (McGreevey) Eberenz and is preceded in death by her parents and husband of 70 years, Gerald M. Johnston. Survivors include her daughters, Carol (David) Miller and Suzanne "Suzy" Jennings; grandchildren, Rachael (Arthur) Smith and Ryan (Jessica) Lowery; great-grandchildren, Arthur Smith, Evelyn Smith, Logan Lowery and Alexandra Lowery; niece, nephews, cousins and friends. Kay graduated with a degree in Music Education from The Ohio State University, where she was one of the first women to play in the concert band. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2015, 3 p.m., with visitation one hour prior, at Xenos Christian Fellowship, Study Center, 1340 Community Park Drive, Columbus, OH 43229. Keene, Clara V. - Sunbury  
Keene Clara V. Keene, age 91, of Sunbury, died Tuesday evening, July 28, 2015 at Countryview of Sunbury. Born March 27, 1924 in Wellston to Henry C. and Clara E. (Hixson) Shuter. She was a member of the Olive Green Church of Christ in Christian Union, Big Walnut Senior Citizens, East Liberty Grange. Clara taught Sunday School, enjoyed Bible Study, Joy Club and Fun Bunch at the church. Clara was a devoted Christian woman, wife, mother and Grandmother. She was a friend to all and enjoyed time spent with her family and friends. Clara was a true Angel in disguise. Survived by sons, Kenneth (Janet) Keene of Galion, James Keene of Sunbury; three grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, seven great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband Karl Keene, daughter Patricia Doughty, daughter-in-law Catherine Keene, brothers Arthur, Gerald, Henry, Harold, sisters Margaret Walters, Mary Davis. Friends may call Saturday 11 a.m.-12Noon at the DeVORE-SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, SR 3 at 61, Sunbury, where service will be held immediately following at 12Noon with Pastor Ken Mossor officiating. Lynch, Amos H.  
Lynch Amos H. Lynch, age 90, went home to the Lord Friday, July 24, 2015. Publisher of the Columbus Call and Post newspaper and community activist; member of Shiloh Baptist Church. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Geraldine Anderson Lynch and beloved son Amos H. Lynch, Jr. He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved daughter, Amosizinna Scott of Pittsburgh, PA; beloved son, David (Stephanie) Lynch of Berk, VA; brothers, Nelson Lynch, Orville (Gwendolyn) Lynch, David E. E. Lynch, Huey M. (Jeanette) Lynch; sister, Javlin Lynch Bonner; four grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Homegoing celebration 10 a.m. Saturday, August 1, 2015 at the Shiloh Baptist Church, 720 Mt. Vernon Ave. Dr. Otha Gilyard, officiating.
