Adolphus C. DuBose Jr.

DuBose, Jr. Adolphus "Al" C. DuBose, Jr., 80, of Upper Arlington, died Tuesday, June 18, 2013. He was born July 19, 1932 in Blue Springs, Alabama to the late Adolphus, Sr. and Naomi DuBose. He grew up in Columbus, Georgia and was a graduate of Auburn University. Al served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was an avid Atlanta Braves fan, enjoyed fishing, and the outdoors. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Michael DuBose, five brothers and two sisters. Survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Carolyn; daughter, Jan (Rich Erazmus) DuBose; step-daughter, Diana Tartal; step-son, Tom (Dawn) Tartal; and five grandchildren. Family will receive friends Saturday, June 22, 2013 from 9:15 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 10 a.m. at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd., Columbus, OH.
