Mand Charles L. Mand, 86, of Dublin, passed away Sunday, January 26, 2014. He was born June 19, 1927 in Flushing, NY to the late Louis and Augusta Mand. Charlie was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who lived a wonderful and fulfilling life. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of almost 60 years, Louise; children, Jocelyn Shaughnessy, Christopher (Michelle) Mand, M.D., and Vanessa (Paul) Hannah; six grandchildren, Ryan (Sadie) Shaughnessy, Alison and Carmen Mand, Will, Jack, and Alex Hannah; two great-grandchildren, Scarlett and Charlie Shaughnessy; sister, Marion Coulon; many nieces, nephews, and a wonderful extended family. Charlie enjoyed a rewarding career at The Ohio State University
as a professor and then as Director of the School of Health, Physical Education and Recreation. He felt very strongly about education, physical activity of all types, connecting with our natural world and community service which he demonstrated in both his professional and personal life.
