Chris was a selfless friend at work and at play. One of my fondest memories is the great scavenger hunt she organized. How wonderful of her to put her energy and creativity into such an event for her friends. May this an other joyful memories comfort you as we all mourn.

I love you my best friend. You are my first best friend, you supported me during the hardest time in my life. You were my first roommate, and the second musketeer with you, I and Joe. You were my maid of honor. And my son took his first steps to you. I cried with you and for you when Nathan passed away. I thought I might lose you, your pain was so great, but as always you survived with strength and determination. I should have known better than be concerned. I have so many memories, in fact, Joe and I were relating some particularly crazy things we did. But I'll keep those to myself... One of my first vivid memories is you slathering Dippoty Doo on your bangs at night, then taping them down before you went to bed. I found that hilarious. Last time we saw each other was at my sister's. We sat in the gazebo, and talked for over an hour, it was like it always was. You ask me a question and I answered and you could always find a sarcastic coment to make sure I didn't take myself too seriously. No matter what each of us went through, we always stuck together.
I can't get there for your service, but you know you are in all my thoughts, and every memory is a good one. I wanted to come and say a few words about my best friend, but since I can't,these are the words I want to say. I love you, you are my first and best friend, I will check in on Lindsey and Elin, but I'm sure they'll be fine. She has her mother's strength. You can rest now, you are loved by all that crossed your path. And especially me, I love you,and I will always keep you alive in my heart and mind. I will always remember what great times we had. I will miss you. Love, Jules

Ed and family - I am so sorry to hear about Chris' passing. Chris was such a wonderful person, even when I kept you out past curfew, Ed! I know the depth of loss you must be experiencing and hold you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. I hope the wonderful memories of the years together can help soften the blow from the loss of your wife, mother, friend, companion. If there is anything I can do, you know you don't hesitate to ask.
