Cynthia Kay Martin

Martin Cynthia Kay Martin, long-term resident of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, passed away February 17, 2013, in Reynoldsburg. "Cindy" Martin was born January 8, 1944, Cynthia Kay Wagner (in Piqua, Ohio). After a tragic childhood, she was adopted by Frederick Knight Martin and Ellen Irene (Carlton) Martin of Piqua, Ohio, graduating Piqua High School, 1962. Cindy studied retail management at the University of Cincinnati and in 1966 she entered retail merchandising with Federated Department Stores (in Columbus, Albuquerque, and St. Louis) and continued on with Schottenstein's, then with DSW, in Columbus, Ohio. Cindy was an admired professional and treasured mentor as well as a loving friend. After retirement, she continued living in Reynoldsburg, where she was a devoted donor to Support Dogs Inc. and Mid-Ohio Foodbank. Cindy will be interred at Forest Hills Cemetery (Piqua, Ohio) with her family. Memorials to Mid-Ohio Foodbank, 3960 Brookhaven Dr., Grove City, OH 43123, please.
