Debborah Lucille (Zamarelli) Moore

Moore (Zamarelli) Debborah Lucille (Zamarelli) Moore, age 63, died suddenly and peacefully at home on Sunday April 27, 2014. Graduated from Bishop Ready High School class of 1969, she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Voice and Theater from the College of Mount St. Joseph in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1973. She earned a teaching certificate from The Ohio State University in Special Education. She retired from the Franklin County Board of Developmental Disabilities after teaching special needs children for over 30 years. Debbie was a member of Holy Rosary and St. John's Church and choir for a number of years and also sang with the Columbus Symphony Gospel Choir. She was a long time member of Eastmoor Swim Club. Debbie was an actress and a born entertainer. She had many talents on and off stage. She never failed to make you laugh. She had the voice of an angel. She was a loving mother, not just to her own children, but to many others in the community (commonly referred to as "Mamma Moore"). Preceded in death by her father Andrew J. Zamarelli. She is survived by her children, Amber Moore and Adrian (Danielle) Moore; their father Clif Moore; granddaughter, Azure' Lewis; mother, Catherine Zamarelli; sisters, Tina (Jack) Middendorf, Andrea (Kirk) Adler, Jodi Zamarelli; niece, Johanna Middendorf; various aunts, uncles and cousins. Calling hours are at the MAEDER-QUINT-TIBERI Funeral Home located at 1068 S. High Street, Columbus, Ohio 43206 from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, May 1. Prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, May 2, at Holy Rosary and St. John Catholic Church located at 648 South Ohio Avenue, Columbus, Ohio, 43205 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
