West DeVon "Dee" R. West, 75, passed away November 26, 2013. He was preceded in death by parents Leona and Kenneth West and sister Darl Pellatiro. Dee is survived by the love of his life, Connie (Cardina) West; children, Stewart (Bobbie) West, Douglas West, Kelly (Anthony) D'Errico, Carey Sprafka and Tricia Karleski-Campbell; grandchildren, Morgan and McKenna West, Angelo and Enzo D'Errico, Tyler Sprafka and Layla Karleski; many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Dee served in the United States Marine Corps from 1956 to 1968 where he was distinguished, with a title of "Sharp Shooter". He was a member of Upper Arlington Lutheran Church (UALC) The Church at Mill Run, where he served his community and was a delight to all that knew him. Dee was an avid OSU fan and enjoyed his tailgating friends. He cherished his hunting experiences with his dad and also the annual deer hunting trip with the "Dirty Dozen" in PA. Enjoyed golf outings with many friends and especially with his wife. Above all else, Dee loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Visitation Saturday, November 30, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Upper Arlington Lutheran Church, UALC- The Church at Mill Run.
