Seimer Eleanor Dechert Seimer, age 87, passed away on February 24, 2014. Born June 4, 1926 to the late John Orville and Del Nora (Ehman) Dechert. Preceded in death by husband James A. Seimer, February 24, 2001 and brothers William and Roy Dechert. Survived by sons, Dr. J. Michael (Sherry) Seimer and William E. (Chris) Seimer; grandchildren, Todd (Monica) Seimer, Kasey Seimer, Kimberly (Andy) Blake and Katherine (Rick) Brooks; six great grandchildren, Bristol and Boaz Seimer, Kendall and Griffin Blake, Evie and Felix Brooks; many special, loving nieces and nephews; brothers and sisters-in-law, George and Wanda Seimer, Frank Seimer, Irene Wilson and Ruth Seimer, all of Circleville. Eleanor enjoyed working as a secretary at Dun & Bradstreet and the Belt Corp. She also spent many years working at Beulah Park and Scioto Downs for Hayes Concessions. A sixty year member of the Harrisburg United Methodist Church and a lifetime member of the Grove City Community Club. A longtime member of the Harrisburg Euchre Club and volunteer for the late Mercy Hospital. Eleanor enjoyed cooking, entertaining and helping others and never met a stranger. Family will welcome friends 4-7 p.m. Friday, February 28, 2014 at SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, where service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday.
