Electa Baldwin Pollitt

Pollitt Electa Baldwin Pollitt, passed away December 31, 2013. She was preceded in death by her son William Lee Pollitt. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, William Clifford Pollitt. Electa is survived by her daughters, Electa Lee (Terry) Ragan of Rochester, MN and Kristin Ilse (David) Mesa of Ellicott City, MD; grandchildren, Sarah, Rebecca, and Jesse Mesa along with Ethan and Katherine Ragan; great-granddaughter, Keira. Electa graduated from North High School and The Ohio State University. She was a member of the Worthington Presbyterian Church, a Life member of The Ohio State University Alumni Association, a member of the Franklin County Alumni Club, Phi Mu, American Association of University Women, Women Today, Twigs 95 and 59 of Childrens' Hospital, North High Women's Alumni Association, Worthington Women's Club, Worthington Garden Club, Crazy Eights Bridge Club, Ladybug Red Hat Club, and Les Clacquers of Opera Columbus. While living in Connecticut, she was involved with the Ballet Etudes Ballet Company and a Volunteer Social Worker with Yale Hospital. While living in Virginia, she was president of the Washington DC Alumni Club of The Ohio State University. A Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at 2 p.m. at the WORTHINGTON PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 773 N. High Street, Worthington, Ohio 43085.
