Ernest Everett Brownfield

BROWNFIELD Ernest Everett "Ernie" Brownfield, 61 of Columbus, died Friday, December 28, 2012 at Doctor's Hospital West after a short battle with cancer. He was born December 26, 1951 to the late Melvin and Betty Jane (Salyer) Brownfield. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving at the close of Vietnam. He retired from Columbus Kroger Bakery and was currently employed with WalMart Distribution. He is survived by Linda (Martin) Brownfield, his wife of 30 years; two sons, Levi Brownfield and Eric (Talya) Brownfield; two granddaughters, Bindi and Malia Brownfield; siblings, Steve (Bunny) Brownfield, Kathy Barnes, Paula (Al) Morrow, Lynn (Shawn) Lester, Lisa Pilkington and Matthew Brownfield; many nieces, nephews and friends. Ernie was an extremely patient man who was very loving and had an excellent sense of humor. A memorial service will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL, 3030 W.
