Gale R. Baldridge(1923 - 2014)

Baldridge Rev. Gale R. Baldridge, age 90, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2014. He was born February 24, 1923 in Iowa City, Iowa to the late Raymond and Fern Baldridge. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Mildred (Warman) Baldridge; sons, Larry (Chris), Stephen (Kathy), Paul (Sandy) and David (Kim-deceased); grandchildren, Curtis, Jonathan (Hannah), Angela (Frank) Economou, Lindsay, Nathan, Eric (Liz), Philip, Brittany (David) Garner, Taylor, Ryan, Emily and Joshua; four great-grandsons; extended family and friends. Gale graduated from Northwestern Bible School, Wheaton College and Northern Baptist Seminary. He served 3 years as a Chaplain in the U.S. Air Force and pastored churches in Newton, Iowa, Omaha and Lincoln, Nebraska, Columbus, Ironton and Wilmington, Ohio. After retiring he served 13 years on staff at Karl Road Baptist Church, Columbus. While in Ironton, he served as president of his Rotary Club. Family will welcome friends 2-5 p.m. Sunday, February 2, 2014 at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd., Columbus, OH 43229 and from 10-11 a.m. Monday, February 3, 2014 at Karl Rd. Baptist Church, 5750 Karl Rd., Columbus, OH 43229, where service will begin at 11 a.m.; luncheon will immediately follow service; 1:30 p.m. procession to Northlawn Memory Gardens for interment. Rev.
