Naraghi Giliard Naraghi, 75, of Columbus, died Monday, January 13, 2014. She was born January 25, 1938 in Princeton, NJ to Mohammad Moghadam and Nakhostin Farzad. Giliard loved her family and enjoyed life to the fullest. She was an excellent cook and baker and loved working in her garden or just being outdoors. Giliard cherished traveling with her husband Manouchehr (Mike) over the past 45 yrs to over 35 different countries learning all that each country's culture offered. She enjoyed reading poetry and participated in a monthly club that would read Persian poetry. Giliard was also active over 20 years with The Iranian Culture Association. She was a graduate of The Ohio State University
and retired as a Research Assistant from The James Cancer Hospital at OSU. She is survived by her loving husband, Manouchehr (Mike); sons, Dara Naraghi and Bahman Naraghi; sisters, Pouneh and Dineh; half sister, Niloofar. A celebration of her life will be held Sunday 2 p.m. January 26 2014 at the SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL 6699 N. High St. (1/2 mile south of 270) where friends may visit the family one hour prior and immediately after the service.
