Roush, Jr. Gordon Alfred "Bud" Roush, Jr., age 85, passed away on Friday, February 14, 2014. He was born in Plain City, Ohio, on December 14, 1928, to the late Gordon and Florence Roush, Sr. He is survived by children, Paula L. (Roger) Tidrick, Penny K. (Jock) Layton, and Pamela J. (Tony) Chaffin; grandchildren, Jason Glick, Amanda (Todd) Chaffin, Ginger (Aaron) Knox, Megan Chaffin, and Ashley (Matt) LePage; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Paul (Stella) Roush and Mark (Tammy) Roush; sisters, Mary Kirk and Lois (Dick) Fisher; other family members, including Nelson Glick and Jennifer Glick; and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years Virginia "Tittle" Roush, brothers John and Eddie and granddaughter Mamie Layton. He was a proud U.S. Army
veteran and was retired from Moose Beverage Company after 33 years of service as a "beer driver". He was also a member of Orient United Methodist Church. Gordon loved to remodel and help others with their projects. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman and loved to cheer on his Ohio State Buckeyes and Cincinnati Reds. Bud was also a frequent patron at the 35 Raceway. Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at the SCHOEDINGER NORRIS CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City. A funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor Gerald Koster officiating. Interment Concord Cemetery.
